TROPICAL NORTH QUEENSLAND

This is the only place in the world where two World Heritage Listed attractions - the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest, lie side by side. In parts of the far north, the rainforest touches the reef, reaching right down to sandy beaches from which you can snorkel the reef. The cosmopolitan city of Cairns is the gateway to these natural attractions, plus to man made triumphs like the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

It's also a stepping stone to islands of the Great Barrier Reef as well as the grasslands of the Gulf Savannah. The Aboriginal history in the area is rich too, while on the lush Atherton Tableland, eerie volcanic lakes and a thriving dairy, peanut, coffee and maize industry, provide a different slant to Far Northern life - not to mention cooler temperatures, all year round.

Peppers Beach Club & Spa, Palm Cove

back

Peppers Beach Club & Spa is an elegant and inviting 5 star accommodation resort in an idyllic setting - Palm Cove, Tropical North Queensland's most intimate beachfront getaway.

Set in the heart of the charming Palm Cove village, Peppers Beach Club & Spa is the perfect place to indulge in tropical relaxation. It's a place where you can relax, dine, shop, be pampered, have great adventures and be entertained from morning until night.

Stately melaleuca trees shade the resort's porte cochere, welcoming guests into a private world where the air is scented by fragrant gardenia and cooled by gentle ocean breezes. The lagoon pool offers two experiences, a cascading waterfall for romantic interludes, or sandy beach perfect for kids' play.

Palm Cove

Palm Cove is ideally situated between Port Douglas and Cairns, and has become a retreat for those seeking luxury and tranquiliity, while still having easy access to the retail opportunities of both cosmopolitan towns, and the multitude of day trips available to the Great Barrier Reef and other natural wonders such as Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest. Palm Cove exudes a sense of intimacy, that of a sophisticated village overlooking the beauty of the Coral Sea and embraced by the warmth of the tropical north.
